Tower Court is a model for high density family living, shaped around the changing and diverse needs of contemporary London. It sits in a busy, culturally diverse neighbourhood, home to Europe’s largest Haredi community. The Hackney Council scheme provides 132 high-quality, modern mixed tenure homes for social rent, shared ownership and sale for the Stamford Hill community as whole. Rigorous site analysis and meaningful community engagement led to a design grown from place and people to create the foundations for a mixed, integrated community. Buildings flex around existing mature trees and communal and play spaces open out onto Clapton Common.
