Alex believes passionately in the power of planning to improve places and lives. He is exceptionally skilled in securing high-quality development for the diverse communities he serves and is unique in his drive to advance the careers of junior planners. Alex expertly manages many of the borough’s largest projects and has taken a leading role in delivering best national performance for on-time planning decisions. He line-manages several planners and runs the Graduate/Planning Officer CPD programme. In his advocacy for planning and bringing colleagues with him, he has proven himself a role model and future leader.
