"To our knowledge this is the first ground-breaking project of its kind where multiple local authorities have formed a partnership to investigate the effects of increased traffic from their new local plans causing air quality impacts to European wildlife sites. The project has received praise from Natural England who consider that it has set a national precedent on how to address in-combination air quality impacts from local plan traffic increases.
