Internships or voluntary work experience
If you are currently studying or a recent graduate, some employers may be willing to offer short-term work experience, which will improve your CV. Ask your university for advice.
Redundancy
If you are facing redundancy and are working through your notice period, then your employer is obliged to allow you reasonable time off to secure another job.
